Blade Thickness INFI A2 1/4 , 5/16 ???

Jerry, Just wondering if INFI has only been in 1/4 inch thickness or has it been 5/16 inch. I have a Steel Heart that is 5/16 inch thick and was figuring it was A2. Is this correct? Thanks, Rand
 
Rand...check your thickness again on that Steel Heart. I don't know of a single SH that was made in 5/16th stock...a micrometer will tell immediately. Maybe the coating is throwing you off a little.

As the previous owner of this particular Steel Heart II, I posed the question of A2 vs INFI awhile back. One forumite told me he noticed that his A2 Busse's were a hair over 1/4" in thickness, and the INFI models were right at 1/4". Hope that helps. The original owner told me the knife was A2 as well.
