Yes it is.Is the Centafonte Vesuvious blade the same (2mm) thickness as the Centafonte 3 ?
No quarrel Peter, and I'll admit I don't own a pair of calipers. However, my Forum Vesuvius, has the same thickness blade as my Jesters and Ladybugs, and is noticeably thinner than my Delicas. I am curious though, did you double check by measuring, or by checking two different catalogs?Sorry to say, but in this special case I wouldn't trust the answer you got. Why? Because Centofante Vesuvius has a blade-thichkness of 2,5 mm(Centofante III has 2 mm)
I doublechecked my answer before writing to avoid any quarrel![]()

Thanks Bruceter, that's wierd, but at least I know I'm not going totally crazy. After seeing this I grabbed my calipers and checked a couple of knives.
I measured three or four of my Ladybugs and Jesters, they all were 2mm (give or take .01mm)
My Forum Vesuvius measures 2.22mm and my Shell inlay Vesuvius measures 2.52mm.
This is the first time i compared the two Vesuvius models (what is the plural of Vesuvius anyway?) I would have thought that they would have had the same thickness blades![]()
