I've got a couple of bowie knives I made from 01 tool steel and some old ford leaf springs (so I'm not sure) and an old buzz saw blade (again I'm not sure but think L-6). I want to send them off to get heat treated. I've just recently learned about cryogenic treatment and am curious if I should try that or just send them to some one that does it more traditionally? Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appriciated.
