Blade West Chopoff

Very cool Brian. I remember looking at your competition knives. I had no idea you were actually competing. Here I thought you were making knives to sell to competitors. Sorry I missed the competition. I'll have to hang around to see it next year.

Awesome video. Great job, Brian! :D I'll have to check this contest out in Atlanta next year!

Thanks for sharing.

Nice job, Brian. I'd like to see a pic of the knife as well.

Holy Crap Brian! That looked like a workout!!

There are some other requirements for production blades (more than 20 and sold to the public). They want some blanks and a finished blade submitted for testing....

So if Jerry made a chopper JUST for this competition, and someone used it, would it be considered a production blade?

Yup, I think it would be classified as a production knife if he made more than 20. In the meantime a FSH would fit the bill. So would a BMe with a little modification. I am thinking about ulopping off a bit from the handle and blade off a FBM to meet that 15" OAL requirement.

Welll, I think if Uncle Gerry made a custom chopper, just one, it wouldn't be considered a production blade. Not sure what the ruling would be on a modified production blade....

Folks that would like to see a pic, can send me an e-mail and I'll send you what I have.
