Blade width on a MT?

Hi again.

Can anybody with an MT measure the width of the blade for me please? I know it's 11.5" in length and .25" thick, I want to know how wide it is on the widest part of the blade and how wide the handle is as well. I am making a leather sheath that will be mounted in my truck, and I am too impatient to wait til it gets here to start work. Thanks in advance for your reply.

The blade is 1.25 wide.
The handle is one inch. But not after the wrap.
Your strap on the sheath should be 4.25 inches center to center on the snaps.

Thanks, Mick I appreciate the info. I wish I had a digital camera or a scanner... this 'sheath' is looking pretty cool...(will look a LOT better with an MT resting in it).
