Blade wobble acceptable in a new knife?

Hi Folks,

Thanks so much to all of you who left comments.

A few had mentioned that I'd never be satisfied and you are right. What I didn't mention is that I bought more than one of the same knife and one had a gap at the front that I could easily stick a standard-size business card in.

I guess I didn't want to mention the brand of the knife because this could be an anomaly. Also, though new to all of this knife buying, I have a few Buck, Case, and SAK that I've had for years. Yes, I'm the far side of sixty...way far! So, it's not as though I've never owned knives. But, it's always possible that some might consider my evaluational being nit-picking which I don't really think it is.

I plan on sending them back tomorrow.

I hope all goes well and that eventually you find a decently finished example. A knife with issues is an unresolved annoyance! Thanks for a very polite and dignified post too.
