chip, I need help with two dual action knives and hoping you could either handle the work or point me to someone who can.

1) Ralph Darryl “Apogee” d/a knife with hex head secret firing method. I think you have one? I have nerve damage on my right hand so thumb strength weak. To fire in auto mode the hex head isn’t pressed down it is pushed forward but only way in am make it work is using both thumbs. Not ideal.

Need someone who can open up knife and adjust/polish/work magic to the hex head is easy (less force required to fire). I am willing to accept possible accidental firing with this modification. I always carry my d/a knives in leather slips. Second request is to
Improve the action with adjusting/modifying blade pivot point perhaps with new washers and maybe polishing to allow blade to snap out when manually opening blade.

This something you have interest in helping with? Not a rush job could go into your cue. If at Atlanta Blade Show in June I could meet you there and show you the knife/hand off to you if you want to do it?

2) Matt Diskin Fire. I have a Fire w stone washed blade and want to replace it with a compound mirror polished blade like Matt did for a while on later production builds. I’ve left Matt messages on Instagram but I don’t think he checks them. Do you have a way of getting in touch with Matt about this or know someone who could do the work?

BTW I have a few interesting sweet custom d/a knives I could bring to BladeShow to show you.

I will be at Blade, bring them by and I can take a look...Table 9X in the big room 👍 Matt will be at Blade as well, that's probably your best chance to hit him up.
