Hey Tony ...I'm sure Dudley has more Erickson pieces than I do, but the tolerances on Dobruski's stuff are incredible....!!!!
I only have two of Walter's pieces, but I'd have to lean towards Dobruski's grinds. This is also a humble opinion from a non-knifemaker, so not worth as much as those who have more expertise and/or more exposure to Walter's work.
They both handle well as far as I'm concerned, but there is a newness to the feel of Dobruski's Balis that I think relates directly to his attention to pivot design. <~~~ NOT a verbal blow directed at Mr. Erickson, just a different feel.
