IF you guys are looking for a good knife at a great price (especially automatic) I strongly reccomend BladeBid.com. For one the have a pretty good selection, for two they have good quality and name brands and for three the prices are great. Its run by a guy named rich bolton, very friendly and reliable FAST SHIPPING. Dont deal with jerks like Admirals knives, stick to winners like bladebid

Hope This Helps

Just a wild guess, but you wouldn't be somehow associated with BladeBid.com, now would you?????

I always like to check on those great prices when I see a thread like this. So I went and checked the Pardue Toggle folder. On Joe's site the full retail price is $49.95 and I have seen it selling for $34.95. On BladeBid's site the starting bid is $57.00. Somehow that doesn't seem like such a great price to me. So I look at the autos because the original poster mentioned that they were even a better deal. The Boker Magnum AK47 sells for around $23.00 pretty well everywhere on the net. The BladeBid starting price - $34.00. I am kinda wondering where these great prices are.

First of all im not at all associated with bladebid, i had just bought something from them and was very satisfied. When i say great prices i mean i bought an AKC italian stiletto 13" dark horn auto for 57.00 with a dagger blade. Find that price somewhere else on the net. (SKM charges 100 for that knife.)

I'm with you guys, it reads like an adman wrote it. I saw an ad for Overstock.com on TV and went to check prices. They had SAKs for less than list but far from cheaper than from our true pals here on the Forum. Kind reminds me of the local matress stores who have had "sales" everday for the past 35 years. :D

I bought a knife (Buy it Now)off of BladeBid and as they directed, I contacted the seller the next day by e-mail and left 2 phone messages. Ten days later, the seller contacted me by e-mail, indicated they had e-mail problems (hows the phone working?) and asked how I wanted to pay for the knife. I replied and 6 days later, still no reply. No knife. The seller, The Body Armor Center, has a of lot of auctions going. Anyone have similar experiences?

I checked e-bay and he has 5 negatives in the past 12 months. Apparently, he has his own rules for Buy it Now. I think that it may be: Buy it Now, pay for it now and I'll find it later. Some of his replies to negatives were kind of funny.

I checked out the site and did find a good deal. What I don't like is the registration process. It requires one to leave a credit card no. on file. Uh uh.

Malextwo- There are a lot of good deals on the site. You might find that there are plenty with reserves, too. And the credit card thing is troubling. When I bought the knife as a Buy it Now, I assumed that I would immediately get an invoice and pay for it. The counter on the auction page indicated that they had 10 of these knives in stock. I was advised by Blade Bid to contact the seller to pay for it. That was in mid -July. I phoned 3 times and e-mailed the seller without success. Another waste of time which is becoming a trend with these dealers.
