Does anybody have an actual phone number for Bladebinge?

Six days ago I attempted to buy a knife from them. Went through the linking accounts process because they don't take PP for some reason.

At the very moment my account linked, they charged me. At that very same moment the knife disappeared from my cart and the ad came down.

Next morning I received an email stating that a refund had been processed. I responded to the customer care email. Never heard back.

This morning I tried to find a phone number. No dice.

I used the message function on the website to ask about it. No live help, AI had me email the very same email address that had previously been a dead end. I did, five hours ago. Nada.

I'm not generally one to complain about a business publicly. Just how much time and effort is reasonable to get my $950 back? Six days in now.

If you handle people's money, you need a phone number. Does anyone happen to have one for them?

I'll report here on any updates, good or bad.
 
Never bought there but browsed there before. I’d be curious to see how this shakes out. No help here but best of luck. There should be a way to get them. You could call your CC company and open a case preemptively. That can help.

Roger that. Ive considered that but it's just more steps for me to deal with. If it doesn't wash out, that will have to be. Unfortunately it's not a CC, straight out of my account.

Did you look up the name listed as the man or whatever on the website? Thought about that but man if I have to start cold calling, I worry about my state of mind when I get them on the line. 🤣
 
If a refund was issued to your bank or credit card, it often takes between 3 and 7 days for the refund to clear.
Just my experience in general.

No...I checked on the registered address and came up with a number from a couple of sources...one was the Better Business Bureau and I forget the other.

Took all of a minute. If only all cases were like that. ☺️

True that.

That's how we got this far along, I've been waiting for a sign. Though thirty years with this bank, it always shows up as pending within a day or two of initiation.

If that were the case, It would only take human confirmation that it was done and I'd be happy as a clam. A clam without a Skiff Fugitive still, but content anyway. lol
 
Case closed for now. Recieved an email from a human along with a shot of the transaction refund and it appears it was indeed completed on the 4th.

All is well, no harm, no foul. I'll confirm when the funds are in my greedy claws.

😬 Holy crap!? 🤬

I am so Sorry to hear this buddy. That is insane and infuriating that a company can put someone through the wringer like that! That’s why I have a hard time doing business with any company that won’t provide a live phone number prior. I really hope you can get this resolved to your satisfaction soon. I hate when good people get treated badly!

Have you tried contacting your bank to see if there’s anything they can do?
