BladeForum Knife: Poll #1 PRICE?

I agree...We don't really NEED a Forum Knife to be anything really expensive or "special" beyond what's "normal" for a Kershaw knife. With that in-mind, I nominate the "standard" Cyclone or "Mini"-Cyclone as OUR "Forum Knife".

Brainstorming a bit ... this leaves open the possibility of periodically releasing forum models of different knives in the Kershaw line. Should be a boon for collectors having a complete series of forum knives, plus really opening up opportunities for more BFC members to get that special Kershaw forum knife that suits their tastes, including knives in a wide variety of price ranges.

When thinking about fun stuff, always think big, IMO.

I think I would be be willing to buy ANY special edition Kershaw knife for the forums, as long as the edge isn't straight, like the leek, or have a forward sloping blade, like a Kerambit.

I would buy a $150-200 Kershaw with the right design and materials, but placed my vote in the sub-$100 range. Moving 500 knives on this forum is a very tough sell, I think the only way to move that many is to keep the street price way down. A Storm or NRG with S30V might fly if it could be done in the $60-80 range.

I think I could go up to 200$, but it depends on the knife. I like some Kershaws more than others (and there are a few that really don't hit the spot, sorry Thomas)

i think kershaw patch or something might have a better chance-

or maybe kershaw could knock out some different color inserts for a knife -

i dont think we are going to get anyone to pony up 50 large to buy the 5oo they would have to make
