I contacted BF member, stabman (Mark), inquiring about purchasing one of his books (directly through him). FYI: Mark also has his books listed for sale, on Amazon. After a few back & forth PM's, I sent Mark the funds.

A few days later, I received a very nicely packaged box with 2 books. Mark had been planning on doing a GAW, & decided to throw in his intended GAW book, along with the one I purchased. :)

It pretty much goes without saying, what a class act this member is. He has the coolest username, the coolest avatar, posts the coolest stories/pictures/videos, & is just an all around cool guy! I encourage member's here to help support this aspiring Canadian version, of Bear Grylls. :thumbup: :)

Thanks Mark! You are without a doubt, one of my favorite, most enjoyable & highly respected members here on the forum!

One of the best on bladeforums for sure . Even if he is a knife abuser and tree branch slayer anybody that can beat on a Benchmade skirmish without a care is alright by me . :D Seriously don't want to make his head explode but it's been fun .

I tried to read a book once, but couldn't figure out where to plug it in :)
J/K but it's nice to see appreciation for the knowledge and those that archive it. Looks like an interesting read. I'd be interested in a review if you post one OP. Great stuff guys!
 
Didnt know we had any active authors on here. Neat, might have to check out his work. Thanks for the heads up.
 
I bought his amazon book the other day, it's coming up quickly on my reading list. Definitely excited to read something different.
