Depends what your planning on using it for. What will its primary role be and will it be serrated?

i live in a very humid place too

I'd go with the vg10 then. You shouldn't have much trouble from corrosion resistance with it, and I think what little risk it has of rusting is worth it for the extra edge retention. Another thing is that the H1 wont have liners but the vg10 will (I think) so that may play in your decision.
