BladeForums.com 10 year Anniversary

October 2, 1998 was the first day BladeForums.com was opened to the public, and today marks our tenth year in operation.

By every possible metric, we've set the standard by which all others are judged. That is entirely because of the quality of our forum posters, the industry professionals & knifemakers who've shared their knowledge, and the immeasurable help of the moderator staff.

I'd like to thank you all for joining, and for your continued support throughout the years.

In the coming days, I'll be announcing upcoming changes & improvements that will bring our community through the next 10 years.

Thank you for your friendship, and for your sharing. It's been a fun time, and we've got more to come

Kevin
Happy birth day and many happy returns of the day. Best of luck for the future

Thanks to everybody for the opportunity to share a common interest and to learn from such knowledgeable members... and obviously, thanks to the creators.

Keep 'em sharp!!

Happy Holidays to everybody and Happy Birthday to BF.

This Forum is awesome! Happy Birthday

I am a new knives collector.

I Just bought a Cold Steel Talwar Folder #60ST from a french website www.couteausavoyard.com at 350€. Apparently a lot of discount on the web site.Is it a good deal?
I have previously bought benchmade an kershaw from the shop of this guy in Chamonix for the new year.

Go Blade Forum

I just joined this past 12/12/08 and I love this site. I can't get out much due to illness illness ( honest its not a court order!) so going to BladeFourms and reading what others have to say about knives and posting my opinions means a lot to me. BladeFourms also has introduced me to the most wonderful knife that I have ever obtained. The Extrema Ratio Shrapnel just came in the mail yester day I’ve been grinning every since. Thanks for bringing a little extra light into my life. Thanks. :D

I didn't pop in till 2000, so I'm working on 9 years here.

I'd like to thank Spark for keeping Bladeforums a place where civilized discussion (and not so civilized discussion in the appropriate areas) is upheld.

I also appreciate that BFC members support the site and don't have to put up with the avalanche of advertising that is present on some other sites.

Wow!
10 years plus!
Even though my join date says 1999, I remember the October "race" a few of us on the old knife chat had to be the first to post here.
IIRC, I got all fumble fingered and mistyped my password and missed it by this much --><--.
