Hey guys!

It's getting time for SHOT and I'm making badges for whoever wants to go forth and represent BladeForums.com at the SHOT show.

The Badge will look the same as the graphics I uploaded earlier, but will have your name on there. Be expected to answer questions if you wear one... and be positive if you talk about any forums!

Like that will be hard....

Any volunteers?

Hi Spark - please count me in as a rep. So, just basically act as a BladeForums "ambassador"? Will this involve some time commitment or just answer any questions that people may have as they see me walking through the venue?

Nothing major, you don't have to go out of your way at all. You wear the badge, answer questions if anyone asks, and in general promote the site.

You don't have to bring it up if you don't want to (though we'd appreciate it

) but in general it's just a roving Ambassador thing. Chat up knife makers and dealers, etc. and casually mention us if you feel like it.

We're pretty laid back, no obligations or anything.

I'll be handing out flyers and putting them in booths (that will let us put them there that is) and doing the same thing.

I wish, Clay, but I can barely afford to go myself! Still, if I can help in any way, I will try.

Sparks, I'll be wearing so many badges, one more won't hurt. Count me in. You kniw where to find me Monday morning.

I'd do it in a second, Spark.
But my "beady eyes and smarmy grin" will likely scare people off. Besides, I look like a "government agent" or even worse, an insurance agent

BTW, I've been getting lots of email from a group of women in Salem since the "goat worshiper" photo was posted.

Spark,

That's OK, at the moment I'm battling to find the bus fare to work, usually have to go by bicycle. My request was just my way of helping the posts reach 10000

Kit, Ok, no problem!

Bill, are you actually going to be at SHOT? If so, I guess we can let you do it, despite your beady eyed, government worker appearance....

Spark,
I wish I could go. Maybe I'll be in better shape by the Blade Show.
You know what I look like so there's no sneaking up on you. They will stop me at the door anyway, so I might as well admit up front that I'll be there. Can't come this time, so relax

I say lets get ready for The Blade Show. I will have three tables that I could put a small sign on. A badge wouldn't hurt either.

Count Me in. (Decided not to get the tatoo) See ya tomorrow night. Go Dirty Birds.

Bill, want to go in as a BladeForums.com reporter? You'd be an employee, I have a badge all ready for you...

As for Blade 99, we plan on having a booth for it! Wooohooo! Tshirts, Polo shirts, other great stuff.

Spark,
I've been doing exactly what you described at the gun and knife shows I've been to since the day after I found BF. Might be cool to actually have a badge and be all "official" LOL Can't make it to the SHOT show (and all this talk about it isn't making that easier to swallow

) But if you want some help promoting us in Atlanta, count me in!

Regards--Shades
