Ok, we've just updated the software and there are some new features you should check out.

For example, there is the autolinking url feature. Just type in your url and the software will automatically turn it into a hyperlink! Check it out: http://www.bladeforums.com

Second, there is the ability for you users to delete your own posts. Now, when you accidentally post twice, you can delete the second one! How about them apples?

Third, we now have the ability to move threads from forum to forum. Pretty snazzy! Now, if your thread is off topic, we can just move it instead of locking it or deleteing it.

There are some other features as well, so check it out.

Spark, no offence, always nice to see you guys making improvements, but you did not make a link. Can we still use html and ubb code?

That will teach me not to post before I'm sure that the upgrade has taken place:

Other salient features: We can now unlock locked threads, and you now have the ability to delete bad cookies from your profile and then recreate a good one.

For a spell checker to work it would at least need to partially recognize part of the word. Based on how I slaughter wrods sometimes it may not help me

Nice Job! Also like how fast the search now works! Sometimes we take so much for granted, when there are aces like you guys behind the scenes!

I made use of the delete thingy today, had a couple of posts in the ForSale column that are now completed, so I wacked them out a there, make some more room? Hope so.

Again, good Work!

PS
Whats the deal with the IP Logged, what does that do and how can we make use of it?

Spark -- congrats!

Second, there is the ability for you users to delete your own posts. Now, when you accidentally post twice, you can delete the second one!

Thanks for empowering us with the option to delete our own threads. However, I think this option should only be limited to threads accidentally posted twice.

I believe that a thread that has already generated at least one response should be left alone as the thread is no longer "owned" by the original poster but is already "owned" by the Forum itself.

This would also prevent threads and posts that contain vital information beneficial to all to be deleted. As an example, what if "Amazon Expert" decided to delete his thread "Cut the crap..." which contains excellent posts from Jeff Randall?

I think the option to delete -- if ever necessary (I can't of any reason right now except the double-post) -- a thread with multiple responses should be left to the discretion of the Administrator and/or Moderator.

This would include For Sale threads to maintain "public record".

I hope you consider this.
