Knifeart and others have commissioned special runs with very nice woods and bone over the years. How hard would it be for us to put something like this together....and if so what inlay would y'all choose.

Without any doubt, Micarta, natural canvas. (Also with insingo blade if that's not to much of an ask!)

A solid copper insert or a bone inlay with a scrimshawed pic of Scarlett Johanss... nvm on the second.

If you the miss out on the first run of Scarlett Johansson mnandis they'd be $3K in the secondary mkt. Either way I'm in.
As for a CF mnandi, yes please.

I'm in for one just to support the cause no matter materials BUT a carbon fiber one would look awesome!

I'd be in for a carbon fiber version.

Inlay?
How about a Plain Jane titanium with no inlay! Spa ready...need I say more? I'll take 2!

Ps. They don't listen to us anyhow... we've been asking for a medium Sebenza for ever.

I actually don't think this is fair. I feel the Inkosi is a very good example of CRK "listening" and improving on the complaints against 25. Also they upped the heat treat on the steel, and changed away from the annoying boxes. The webstore has a lot of the stuff that people we asking after. I think CRK is listening, but also considering things against factors we don't have knowledge of. As companies go, you cannot knock them really.

...you mean the new box that doesn't fit in a small priority box? They had 1 job...and totally failed.

Yes, after owning a few hundred Crks and carrying one every single day (still do) I feel I can "knock" them a bit when I see fit. [emoji6]
Don't get me wrong I still wouldn't carry anything else but.

While it is possible, one major challenge would be a consensus on the inlay.
A feasible way would be through a dealer.
He is used to handle finance and logistics and is an accepted partner to all parties involved.

I don't think when CRK designed their new box that they were obliged to the knife community a box that would "fit in a small priority box".

Agreed

Their priority was probably getting the product to dealers and not one at a time in a priority mail box. That would be up to the dealers to choose their carrier for shipping to the destination.
Personally, I like the new boxes and could care less about what they ship in. To be fair, if you buy, sell and trade alot, I can see how this affects you..but I typically buy..rarely trade and sell once in awhile. Gladly, I would pay more to have something shipped to me that is in good shape.
Just don't put priority mail stickers on the outside of the box and use that as a shipping container. Received a Pacific this way..ugh
