What do you think?

Looks GREAT! Any takers out there for blue anodizing the BFC and hole bevels? Or would this be too much? Just a thought. Nice work Ralf.

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

That is nice work I guess.
I, for one do not like skeletonized handles.

Just my own personal preferences and not to disparage anyone else's ideas.

It kind of reminds me to much of a Pat Crawford knife. Not that there is anything with Pat's knives.

But keep playing around with some ideas. We will need to get the ideas to Chris before too long.

I'm not too fond of skeletonized handles on folders either. I don't mind a few holes, like on Ken Onion's knives because they add more than they take away... but this is a bit much...

Way to hustle and put an idea out there, though... Let's see some more from you guys!

That is awsome I too am not fond of holes in handles, but that is an awsome knife!!!!!!!!

I think a couple of holes would be cool. It'd be uniques to the BFC Sbeenza kinda like the LDC ones

I am not much for "swiss cheese" handles either.

I think it would look REALLY cool if the top of the blade was curved.

I like the holes on a Crawford/Benchmade Leopard. They look good, add a bit of traction, and reduce weight without reducing strength.

On the knife above, if I was on the committee, I'd eliminate the large hole in front, the small hole to its upper rear, and the small hole down below the thong hole at the rear, and make the remaining small holes smaller. Hmmmm . . . kinda like a Leopard when I get done.

Or I'd leave it to Chris Reeve to come up with some pattern as striking in its way as the deep engraving he does on the decorated Sebenzas.

I'm with James Mattis, let's let the knifemaker make his own knife. I haven't seen a lack in creativity on Mr. Reeve's part, have you?

PS The holey handles did me in too. I don't think of a Sebenza as a tactical knife, just the opposite. A true tool.

I say - let CR do his did.

I don't care too much for the holes, too.

the blade shape should remain original sebenza, IMHO.

any way - nice work Ralf...

The holes are awsome KEEP THE HOILES,
think of it as your elite knife that is like none of your others, because it is a great looking knife.....
Also IMHO maybe you should also make a tanto version.....
Also is that knife right there for sale, because I know I would buy it..

This knife is just a DIGITAL knife and a product of my graphic program.

Since blue seems to be the "official" BFC color, how about:

- Two tone blade (stonewashed flats, polished bevels)

- Polished hardware

- Blue anodized thumbstud

- Blue anodized "CR" logo

- Blue anodized handle spacer

- Blue anodizing on the inside of both handle slabs

- ...and "BFC" on the polished front handle slab, anodized on blue.

It would also be cool if the BOTH handle slabs would be completely anodized blue, and the decorations were anodized purple.

Polish the handle.

Pinwheel cuts around the holes, anodized (multicolor).

Blue anodize the logo and BFC.

Use the Classic blade and polish it.

Double thumb studs, anodized gold.

Reverse screws, polished and anodized/plated gold.

Numbered.

PS, If we don't like holes, how about slots?
