This is another post about Blade HQ and their slow shipping and poor/lack of customer service.

I placed an order on Blade HQ in the early morning of August 3. By today, August 9th, the order status still state "not shipped." On their website it states that items ordered have a 48 hour fulfillment time. It's pretty disappointing how slowly it takes to process an order. I understand that we are currently in a pandemic and shipment times may be lagged and companies must first take care of their employees before worrying about business gains.

The long delay in shipping the order isn't the only issue, they even entirely removed their online customer service number. If they are taking customers' money and still have the ability to post and make videos about knives on Youtube, surely they have the ability to at least have one customer representative take calls in case there are any issues. I even sent an email without any response.

It is definitely important for people and companies to stay safe, however 5+ business days to ship out an item that is supposedly in stock when it is supposed to take a max of 2 days is ridiculous. If they know that the fulfillment times will take longer, they should update it on their website letting customers be aware of the situation.

On the upside, they have an option to cancel an order directly online, which I have done. I have reordered on KnifeCenter.

BladeHQ site states...

"Same-Day Fulfillment
Blade HQ strives to get your order picked and packed the same day you order it. Because of our EPIC fulfillment expectations, our customers get their packages faster than our competitors."

I'm on day 5 (business day 4) and still the in-stock item I bought hasn't shipped. I bought from them because they promise "Same-Day Fulfillment". Is there a better place to buy from? I'm new to high end knives.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I tried posting a new thread but admin appear to have immediately removed it without any explanation given. It was a totally chill/normal post with no foul language or whining.

Immediate removal means the spam filter caught it. Admins get those fixed when they're on

Welcome to Bladeforums Backslider.

Did you try to call BladeHQ? I just saw their customer service number listed on their website under "Contact Us".

I don't know what their issue is with your order, but between Christmas orders, and possible worker shortages, shipping time may not be as fast as they would like.

BladeHQ's website says that they "strive" to ship the same day, it doesn't say that they "promise" to ship the same day.

I've purchased from BladeHQ several times with good results. Any vendor can have issues. I noticed the OP said they were switching to Knifecenter, I've seen people have issues with Knifecenter and saying that they will never buy from them again (I don't share that position).

I hope it works out for you.

EDIT TO ADD- I just saw your other thread on this topic.
