It's interesting that Amazon's Prime Day also had checkout problems the other day.

My computer offered up some Windows updates the other day. One "optional" update was interesting in that it was much bigger than some of the others. I checked before installing it and there were some problems.

Apparently: "After installing KB 3161608 which includes KB 3161639 we started having problems with some web applications not negotiating a TLS connection."

and..

"However, there have been a handful of sites where the business impact of the update created a critical stoppage, and removing the update was warranted as a temporary fix as we work with outside vendors to update their TLS and SSL handling routines."

Maybe some computers got this update installed and it caused their problems ? Hard to say. I'm no expert, and Microsoft Updates always make my head spin when I try to understand them.

Well I guess I wasn't fast enough. A shame because I use my knives. Oh well. And BTW, I'll never buy ANYTHING from BladeHQ again. Guess M4 isn't for me.

God this clown is 10 miles away from me...

Technically anything that sells out does so in minutes. ;)

I had one in the shopping cart and then didn't order it. Rocks in my head... And, I've been waiting for this steel in the PM2 for a long time. Might as well laugh...

Yup - it was totally BladeHQ's fault that you didn't get one. On the other hand, it's probably for the best that you figured out that M4 isn't for you without spending the money on this one...it will leave you with just that much more money to spend with somebody else.

I got my first order in seconds after noon, and it processed right away, with an order confirmation moments later. I ordered a second one with different billing info a moment later; the page took an extra moment to load, and I then received the CC processing error email. This evening, I received an email about the error being corrected and the shipping confirmation on that second order, so all is well.

I'm very excited for this model to come in. I already have a set of copper scales on order for one of these PM2's. With those, it will compete quite well with my Sebenzas.

I'm a little miffed I've had no response from my 2 emails for purchase.... All as per Blade HQ's procedures for international purchases. Seems we've been left out of the loop in Australia. Frustrating to get up at 2am and do all the right things. I think they need to look at that policy and bring it in line with other online stores that sell internationally. I don't get why you can only proceed so far with the cart before requiring a switch to emails..... If they are not responsive to the emails.

Felt incredibly stupid when I realized my payment method was very much outdated, luckily I was able to get it corrected and submitted my order for one. Super stoked for this one as I haven't owned a PM2 for months now, which feels weird. Really like the natural G10, one of the big reasons I owned several leafstorms in the past.

I hear you NjMS... When I saw their international policy (they do not ship to Africa as a continent, how's that), I decided to skip. I think the only way for a BHQ international client to buy a sprint like this is to arrange shipping and payment and everything else days before. I can also understand why they do not care too much for international buyers, just look at the local demand...

On the other hand, KW has been great in my experience. They've added cheap ($22) international shipping during the last 18 months or so. It is slow, but it has been reliable for me. This makes the CF M4 PM2 a possibility.

Actually to add to my frustration I had been in contact with Blade HQ the week before the release of this trying to eliminate an issue. I thought I was all good and following the instructions the passed to me for the process.

Part of me is still hopefull that my order will go through and they were just too busy to reply via email in today's rush.
