Bladehq Paramilitary 2 aluminum scales

I have some of the Grismo scales and they completely change the feeling of the knife. Love it.

would love to hear more about your impressions of what is "different"

Thanks, now I'm gonna be up all night, lying in bed dreaming about that.

You and me both :D:D:thumbup:

I don't have any experience with them but blade hq wouldn't sell a bad pruduct.

The honey comb style scales sold by Blade HQ are made by Allen Putman. They are aluminum, not Ti. That being said they are a top drawer product at a reasonable price, which is why they sell out so fast. I have two Delicas pimped up with these scales. I will post pics in a bit. They are smooth, beautiful, and everything fit together just fantastically!! Couldn't recommend them more highly.

As others here have said John Grimsmo is a special young knifemaker and shares his knowledge with his YouTube video series: Knifemaking Tuesdays. I love his attitude, and want to support any yOung knife maker this creative and committed to his work. He is cutting back on making scales because he wants to devote more time to making his OWN knives.

JG scales...It actually fits better than the stock G10. Taking off the G10 is a pain where the lanyard hole is, once G10 scales is taken off, the JG scale fits like a custom glove...best part is the cavity where you reach for the lock, it feels smooth with spacing and easy to deploy. IDK but when open/close it sounds a bit different too cause of the material. It doesn't feel too much weight is added though? But I like the extra weight...

JG al scales are precise, they fit exact - not worries there. All the holes, etc., are perfect. I had an issue with the coloring, but I believe he has that all worked out now.

Wow I didn't know the Grimsmo titanium scales were so rare.
Here is My m390 PM2 in plain Ti JG Scales.

My new grail.

Any word on when these will be back in stock over on Bladehq?

No word on when they are coming in, but if you register and sign in, you can have them automatically shoot you an email when they are back in stock. Their email system works very well with regard to this.

Well I just caved and set up an email notification for when my friends at BHQ get the green scales in again!
