I have some of the Grismo scales and they completely change the feeling of the knife. Love it.
would love to hear more about your impressions of what is "different"
Thanks, now I'm gonna be up all night, lying in bed dreaming about that.
You and me both
I don't have any experience with them but blade hq wouldn't sell a bad pruduct.
The honey comb style scales sold by Blade HQ are made by Allen Putman. They are aluminum, not Ti. That being said they are a top drawer product at a reasonable price, which is why they sell out so fast. I have two Delicas pimped up with these scales. I will post pics in a bit. They are smooth, beautiful, and everything fit together just fantastically!! Couldn't recommend them more highly.
As others here have said John Grimsmo is a special young knifemaker and shares his knowledge with his YouTube video series: Knifemaking Tuesdays. I love his attitude, and want to support any yOung knife maker this creative and committed to his work. He is cutting back on making scales because he wants to devote more time to making his OWN knives.
