Brand new, just received last week.
I purchased this on these forums last week and was told it was brand new/never used. I do not have any reason to believe any differently. It certaintly looks brand new / perfect to me. To be totally transparent, I did wipe the blade with a Tuff-Cloth.
Looking to get back what I have into it.
