Hi,
I have an old Blademater grinder that I am setting up. I noticed that I have an incomplete set of instructions for the machine. I would like to have a complete set. Can anybody help me get that. I would appreciate it very much. If anybody can give me tips about that machine, that would help me also.
Thanks to all.
Fred

Hey Fred,
I run a Blade master I bought new 87. Cant find the instructions but IIRC they were pretty sparce. Just 2 sheets showing exploded views and a thank you for purchase letter. I can e-mail you pics. of mine or try to answer any questions if it will help.
The only real problem I've had was a worn out wheel shaft. Traded a knife to a machinest to make a new one.

Monty,
Thanks for replying. I would love to get a copy. After posting my question, I found a copy of a magazine article about the BM grinder. If you want a copy please tell me. I will match what you send me against what I have and happily send you copies of whatever you don't have.
Regards,
Fred
PS This was a second post because my first one disapeared when I tried to submit it.

Blade Master, hmm, I don't recall ever hearing about this grinder. You gents mind posting some photos of the machine for us to look at? Sure would appreciate it!!!

Hey Michael,
The foot pedal releases the tension on the idler wheel so you can change the belt.

Hi, Guys! Would someone please email me where they sell this grinder? I tried so hard to find this grinder on the internet for a friend who wanted one and didn't have internet. I couldn't find head or tail for it. These are the first pictures of it I have seen. Its been better than a year since I tried to find it.

Ben Stanley use to sell them. About 15+ years ago. I tried calling the number on one of his videos and got no response.
Thanks for posting your photos Monty. Was that the original variable speed set up or did you add it? Mine is a fixed speed machine with a triple pulley on motor and machine.
Thanks everybody for joining the discussion. I will try to copy and post what I have. I have just finished making an etcher by following Chris Crawfords plan.
Regards,
Fred

Hey Fred, Mine was originally the three speed also, I bought the variable speed set up from K&G in 93.
