Has anyone had any recent experiences with this company? Their prices seem pretty good.
 
I ordered 3 EZE LAP diamond sharpeners from them because they had the best prices I could find. They confirmed my order and said they were in stock. About 5 days later they emailed and said they don't have them in stock and they canceled the order.
About 6 weeks later the three sharpeners show up at my door, shipped from some other business, not BLADEMATRIX !!!! I called the other business, they said they were contacted by BLADEMATRIX and shipped them to me.... Go figure????
 
I've had good dealings with them. Once, they sent only one knife when I had ordered two. After a couple of emails, the matter was right and I was refunded the money for the non-delivered knife. However, I don't order from them now unless they are the only ones with a particualr knife. Their shipping amounts, to me, are outrageous. Good prices, just too much on the shipping.
 
overall a good experience on ordering, but the shipping is a little too much. slow shipping should be expected, but with the low price, sometimes it makes up for it.
 
I don't know for sure, but I think bladeuniverse is a completely different entity and has no relation to bladematrix, bladematrix, iirc, is a subsidiary of a much larger corporation. they will answer your email, but due to the few people working there, phone calls may not go through well. ( I got the above from knifeforums.com where one member actually contacted the person in charge of bladematrix and is in accord with my own experience.)
 
Just got a sword, I think( since it has not been opened), from bladematrix for a Christmas gift :rolleyes: . The wife tried to call and the phone was said to be disconnected, and an Email finally arrived saying "your sword has been shipped". Poor communications and late delivery with no excuse :p . They will not be patronized by me again.
