bladerealms.com?

I am a bit worried about Bladerealms. I ordered a Fallkniven A1 from them on September 2. So far the knife has not arrived. Yesterday I sent an email to ask about the order. I was assigned a trouble ticket number, which I can look at, but last I checked it has not been answered.

The better companies will usually get a knife to you within a week, unless it is some oddball brand that is hard to get, not yet in production, etc. For that matter, the better companies tell you if an item is in stock, in which case they ship it within a day or two.

Bladerealms was running a sale on the Fallkniven A1, so one would expect they had stocked up on them in anticipation of alot of orders.

This is the first time I have ordered from Bladerealms, and only did so because of the sale. Obviously they are not in the category of companies who get a knife out fast. On the same day I ordered the Fallkniven A1, I also ordered a Marbles knife from DLT Trading. I got it on Monday (I am writing this on Thursday night).

I hate to order a knife from a company and then you can't tell if or when they will ever ship it. If I run into a problem like that I cancel the order and never do business with that company again. I don't mind a delay if the company is honest and notifies me that there will be a delay due to some unexpected problems. But if someone doesn't send the knife and also doesn't explain why, I want nothing to do with them. I think if a company does not reply to inquiries, either they have so many problems they cannot keep up with all of the inquiries, or else they are dishonest.

I am not waiting long for Bladerealms to respond to my inquiry. My next message to them will a request to cancel the order.

It is now Sept. 18 and still no Fallkniven A1 from Bladerealms, and no explaination from them. They have an email trouble ticket system for posting inquiries. I have posted several, but not one has been answered. Furthermore, this system has not worked for the past two days.

It looks like I will have to contact VISA to reverse the charges on my order.

I think it is safe to conclude that one should not order anything from Bladerealms. I certainly won't be doing it again.

It is now Sept. 28 and BladeRealms has not sent the knife nor refunded my money. Also, the website appears to have been shut down.

I have filed complaints with every law enforcement agency I can think of - Tucson Police, Arizona Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission. The Tucson Police have opened a case on BladeRealms.

If anyone has ordered something from BladeRealms and not recieved it, I would recommend sending an email about it to Sgt. Patla at the Tucson Police Department.

hi,
i ordered 2 knives from bladerealms and not recieved it.been 5 weeks.they charged my credit card.how do i contact that police departmant?or what should i do?

Hello fellow crime victim!

Contact Sgt. Patla of the Tucson Police at the following email address:

JPatla1@ci.tucson.az.us

He will want all of the evidence you have, such as your BladeRealms reciept and any correspondence you sent to BladeRealms asking about the order, asking for a refund, etc.

Also, you can file complaints with the Arizona Consumer Affairs office and Federal Trade Commission. Just do a search on the internet to find their websites and complaint forms.

If you paid by credit card, you can probably ask the credit card company to reverse the charges.

thanks
I have enough evidence I think.what should I write as email topic?I ll also contact my bank to reverse it.I hope they can.

Hello ChakramC,

I just sent an email to the Tucson Police stating that I believed I had been defrauded by a Tucson company. Then I told them about the order to BladeRealms, and that I had not recieved the knife and that BladeRealms was not answering my inquiries about the order.

As Sgt. Patla has been on the case, you could just entitle your email, "BladeRealms order problem", or something similar. I am sure the Tucson police would like to get as many complaints as possible, to help establish their case. Multiple complaints would establish a pattern of behavior by BladeRealms. They couldn't just say, "Oops, we lost Mr. Beck's order".

Thanks,I just sent an email too. I tried to call them from their 2-3 numbers, but they were all out of order.
