The following is a direct quote from a PM I sent Esav Benyamin last night concerning an individual I dealt with on the JerzeeDevils site. He has quite an extensive history over there. There is presently a long running thread there detailing his antics. I know guys like this usually make the rounds and I didn't want one of you guys to get taken so I notified Ed and he asked me to post the info here.

[/QUOTE]"Hi Esav,

I hope all is well with you and yours.

Just thought I would give you a head's up on this clown in case he comes around here. He screwed up one of my sale's threads over on the Jerzee Devils site and I would hate to see it happen to one of our folks here. His name is Gilbert Moody, follow this link for the sordid details: http://www.jerzeedevil.com/forums/showthread.php/66880-gilbert-moody-bladerex-tanja

Warm regards,

George[QUOTE/]"

He is a Registered User here for years. He has never posted. We know of one case where he jerked around a member on a sale, expressing interest, never following up with money. If anyone has has heard from him, we would appreciate the information. He seems to be nothing but a troll.

I have waited 3 months now of endless bullshit from this clown. We started a deal about 3 months ago...he sent me a 1/4 of what he would owe. I accepted. 3 months now...still waiting for the balance and the trade end of things to happen. It is pretty obvious it is not going to happen. Specially after reading up on the forums now that he does this to alot of people.

This clown is what gives the forums a bad name......if I where you I would stay away from this guy and do not fall for his bullshit.

i read through the jd forum posts and i got to admit, i don't get it? what kinda reason would someone say "i'll take it" and get all the details needed to pay for it and not pay for it......while being online and ignoring emails and pm's etc? same goes with paying a deposit and then nothing?

All I can say is this ass hat is off balance..................

Stupid flakers. If someone says I'll Take It, and doesn't pay within a day or 2,...Nnnnext!

:encouragement: What he said ^

This isn't rocket science. I'll never understand all of the apologists that come to some asshat's defense whenever someone gets into a dispute with one of these guys because they didn't deliver what was promised or pay when supposed to.

It's really easy: Don' t say you'll take it if you can't make an immediate payment. Don't offer something for sale unless you can deliver it as promised. End of story. Don't muddy up the waters later with a million excuses. . . .

I understand that things happen from time to time but honest folk always make it right afterwards.

Let me tell you a story. I think I met a character like this in my post office days. An old guy in the neighborhood, would come in to mail a letter. Not in the box outside the post office, or the letter slot inside the lobby. He walked it up to the Inquiry Window and asked them to take it. Sure, why not?

Maybe a half hour later, he'd come back, changed his mind, could he have his letter back? Ohhh kayyy. Rinse & repeat. He'd bring it back to mail, come back later to retrieve it, shorter and shorter intervals. One day a clerk clued me in and I told him next time you mail it, we cancel it and send it on its way. He was good with that -- someone made a decision for him, he couldn't do that for himself.

Definitely messed up in the head.

Communication is important throughout, expectations need to be crystal clear from seller to buyer. Not just in how the payment is to be made, but when and why. It really is unfortunate because of slackers like this you basically have to add even more complexity to something that should be as simple s possible.

thanks for this story Esav, im going to be making up a backstory for this guy in my head all day. Its 4 more days untill i work next, and 7 more days til the gym and school opens up again, and what do i do with my newfound freetime???? why surf bladeforums for hours and make up weird backstories for people of course ;)

Old thread, I know. He just emailed me with interest in a sale thread I have in the Exchange. Is he still a douche? I see no activity from him on this site but he contacted me through BF email.

No idea, it's not hard to email ya, it's in your sigline. ;)
I would pass on that, why invite trouble after unlocking the door.
