Blades and BBQ

Looks like a great day Horsewright Horsewright . Those fixed blades are gorgeous. Sitting here with Kim, dinking coffee, perusing your site and showing her which ones I might like ha ha
Awesome post, Dave! It's just about lunch time here and your BBQ has me gnawing on my fingers!
Great food, prepared by great folks using great knives!

Grilled up some ribeyes for me and the better half. Kids got hot dogs.

There you go. Rearranging furniture today to accommodate some new pieces we bought. Would rather be smoking something on the BGE ha ha.

Took a break from rearranging house and fired up my little portable setup. Had to make sure the cap lifter on the Kutmaster functioned properly ;). This is the Smokey Joe Premium (14"), but the table also works with my Jumbo Joe (stubby legged 18" Weber). With this setup and a good scout knife you're ready to go!

Here are the wings from yesterday, I was having a little too much of a "good" time to get a photo of the brisket. Suffice it to say it was all very delicious.

I hope they were as delicious as they look.

Great thread. Lots of good knives, good food and good photographs. I especially like to see the few fixed blades here, which, of course, are the best for all food work.
