Blades and Bling - Traditional Knives and Jewelry

fresh from the shop!

My father-in-law died last November, and we recently received a package from my brother-in-law that included both the last pocketknife my FIL carried, a Buck 373, and his 104th Infantry Division (the unit with which he served during WWII) Timberwolf ring. The knife was for me and the ring for my daughter, who once went with my wife to one of the Timberwolf annual reunions when my FIL was not healthy enough to attend. (When my daughter lived in Spain, she and my wife went to visit some Timberwolf memorials in Belgium and Holland, too.) Here's a photo:

I inherited a Army ring from my uncle. I asked a client, US Major, if it was OK for me to wear it even though I was never in the army. He said to go ahead, it honors my uncle to wear it. So tell your daughter to not be shy if she fancies wearing it

Thanks for the advice.:cool: I'll pass the information on to my daughter.
