the brutal strong cold icy winds and cold temps did'nt deter these divers:

great pics bro! I like those neckers man, and that GL Drue looks like a handy knfe for sure!

there was a anchor post bolted to the rocks, from many many years ago.

clickable thumnail

SharpNewbie, the A100 is one of the best knives i have ever bought. Wicked fuzz stick maker, food cutter, notcher, etc.

Very cool!

How do you like the TK-11? I've been wanting to get one for a while, especially with the new R2 version

Great pics, as always.

I have always liked the look of that Poliwog. Have you put it to use around the trail or camp? Looks like it would have fuzz-stick potential.

Thanks for sharing,

All the best,

Its extremely bright. The crack addicts in my area do not like it one bit when i pitlamp them with the TK11. Throws about 200 meters brightly, about 250 meters its gets dim.

I paired it up with protected circuit TENERGY RCR123s , got 4 batts and a Surefire spares carrier for 2 of them, plus 2 primary lithiums.

Mentor, the Poliwog does make good fuzzsticks, but i just dont like it as a bush knife. Its more of a city carry for me. The ladies love it......

PS, how is the stick? did the linseed oil go tack free? I may need to re ratio the mix of turp and linseed oil.....

Nice pictures and a change of pace from knives in trees :D Those neckers are beaut's

Yeah, the Poliwog does look like more of an urban tool.

The stick is great. Can't wait to get out and use it. It is still slightly tacky to touch, but I figure it will be spending at least another month or two in a dry room, so it will have time to set. I'm working on a brass cap to protect the bottom.

All the best,
