blades reposted+ new blades

Hi folks-

I have some blades from a previous thread that I am reposting. A few of them were spoken for, but the buyers changed their minds. I think the original prices were very fair for what these are, but I reduced them because the dogs need to go to the vet and those appointments aren't free.

*edited to add* I also have 7 large-ish hunter/utility blades in 52100 (sold pending funds)

And 9 hunter/utility blades in 1080+ available. They were part of a project I did with a supplier friend of mine, he was so kind as to send them back for me to sell (as a bit of a wedding gift for Angi and I ). Pics and description at bottom of this post....

Here are the 52100 blades--- They were water jet cut from spheroidally annealed 52100 sheet, and we had them cut pin holes for several different possible configurations, and a little bit of skeletonizing for weight.

After rough grinding them, I austenitized each blade in my salt bath at 1485F for a 6 minute soak, and quenched in Heatbath AAA quench oil. They were all drawn back to ~60 Rockwell, surface ground, and then finish ground (full flat grind to a nice thin edge ).

OAL- 8-3/4"
Blade- ~3-7/8"L x 15/16" wide x ~1/8" thick (0.130)

The 7 52100 blades are SPF.... $60 each, shipped in the states. (I hope it's not confusing I only took pics of one... all 7 are exactly like this one).

I have 9 more hunter/utility blades in a little different style... these were water jet from 3/32" 1080+. It's a similar composition to the 1084 most folks are familiar with, but it has Vanadium added to it.

They were austenitized in my salt bath at 1465F and quenched in Park50 quench oil, then tempered back to 59/60 Rockwell. All are surface ground on the flats, and fully flat ground down to a thin edge.

I forgot I had this blade. I made it from one of the 52100 blanks when I was fooling around one day. I changed the blade profile, gave it a beefier point, and put a little clip grind on it. The only downside to that, is it kind of relegates you to using the 3/16" rivet holes.
