Which of your blades get the most attention when showing them off to friends or relatives? It's always my collection of the Becker line. Whenever i pull them out all else is overlooked! There is just something about the simple design of these blades that draws attention...

id have to say my scrapyard yard guard

the 7" recurve gets their attention

Ive had a few get peoples attention ...

from just the one on my belt , to a machete , to some damascus pieces I bought from India , to some cool gear I got from ebay spain ....

the single biggest "holy S**t what is that ?? " was from a mate who watched me use my self made leaf-spring machete to remove a couple trees that blew across the road once

that it shaved his finger prints off after Id finished still had him calling me some kind of nutter having weapons like that under my car seat ....

some people just cannot get it into their heads that just cos its big sharp and deadly for cutting stuff DONT make it a weapon , not always anyway

Damascus gets attention from knife people too , especially if its a user , not a drawer queen , IME anyway

My Dodo is something I carry often. Whenever I use it around friends or NKP the response is always 'What the hell is that!!?'

Usually my Al Mar Pathfinder, the big one on the left:

Sometimes though, it's this one (in the middle):

Have you talked to your therapist about that? I mean, live and let live, but there is a point....................

how do you like your sog micron?

Well, it's definately EDC-able. Even in the UK. I've worn it on a neck chain a few times, although it sooner or later pulls out a chest hair (ouch). Other times it lives on my keyring (with just two keys and a really tiny USB flash stick). I don't like bulky things in my pockets when I'm working, so the Micron is ideal.

It's got a nice edge on it (now ;) ). Lock up is suprisingly good with almost no side play. Feels strong enough, given that you can't get much leverege on it anyway.

I've stripped quite a few Cat-5, audio and speaker cables with it and opened plenty of carboard boxes. Cut duct tape etc. Usual light cutting work of a computer geek.

I haven't tried batoning with it :D ;) but otherwise I would say it's a winner for pure ease of (concealed) carry.
