blades

[v-6]

i just got done quinching 5 blades of 1095 and brought them inside to the oven
for ht.
the oven would not come on and the knifes are cool now but i got the stove back and put the cool knives in @425.
what will this do to my knive being they had cooled off

i think at most, you (possibly) you have developed microscopic stresses or cracks as not to have tempere the blade after quenching. Nothing you're gonna notice with your eyes. A lot of makers do their tempering an hour or so after they have quenched the blades. So yeah, you probably didn't do anything really.
