Bladeshow

I talked with CJ about a hour in 4 different times so far. Great news for 112 collector's!! CJ told me personally that Buck is planning big things for the 50th anniversary of the 112 and MANY different varieties to celebrate that is planned. I asked him twice to drop a box of drop point blades for the Custom shop...I really hope that happens. I did win the BCCI award for "Custom Bucks" and was happy the 112 was recognized..Other displays were more worthy but I'm happy I won. This makes the 4th time since 2009 for me.
I seen a couple of prototypes for next year..very cool! Buck had a great spot against the wall and was showcasing some of the new knives for this year. A great Blade Show!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, here it is Friday and I haven't seen photo one of or from the Blade Show. Did I miss the thread? I'm not a facebook person so if they are on there I guess I'm not going to see any.

Best i can do on pictures. Just purchased this one at the Walmart knife show. I buy 1 or 2, 110’s every year at wallys mid year to make sure their last years stock has cleared. My local wm’s in granite falls, lenoir and hickory have been out till today. 😄

I'm actually waiting for stock to clear out an my local Wally World so I can do the same, lol. Went in yesterday and they still had a 2019 in the display case and two boxed 2020 110's. I like that they getting them in boxes now instead of clamshells. As soon as they clear those out and get some 2021 models in I figured I'd snag one to save for my son who was born this year. :)

Fixall congrats on the little Buck fan.
i still am looking for Buck 110’s for my boys born in 90 and 94. An X and a \ marked blade. I mainly am happy collecting older Bucks that need cleaning, polishing and sharpening. Nothing makes me happier to return a Buck to near new condition. Though nothing beats a Spa treatment from the Idaho factory, they are the pros!! 👍🏻
 
i thought it was kool how they did the walk around---but right it did not show much merchandise---nothing buck at all....guesss that the best we are going to get...even though it is so simple to snap a few pics and post em....i dont use phone---i use computer and its so simple to add photos...

people struggle with the file size. I did as well right away on changeover. pic or data size can't be over 1mb. wont load. before upgrade of software ya could load 1.7mb sometimes larger.

I have to use a compression app to shrink the size in data. my phone and its an old one can't take pics small enough to load. I've played with every setting in the phone. if ya got a digital camera guess ya can play with size? my digital cameras are so old theyre antiques now. I dont play with them anymore..since I just use the phone.
 
I use old old digital camera 7.2 megapixels😎 and set it at vga-email size and it works good enuff...i used to use next setting up till bf changed couple years ago..
 
I'll ask my granddaughter to come over this weekend to help. I will also ask David to text me some of the best ones he took since I didn't take many good ones. I barely walked around the Show at all and mostly sat at my display. Hip and now my good hand is giving me trouble and I had a hard time trying to take pictures without dropping the phone and basically gave up.

Alright, so I thought I had a ‘94 110 in storage but I just checked and it’s not a ‘94. :(

It’s a ‘90! :D

If you’re game to spiff up a user, I have a 1990 Buck 110 I’d like to send your way for your son.
