Hi Guys,
A lot of Guy's have recommended the Bladesmith school in Arkansas. So I signed the check today and hope to go this October. Lin Rhea had only good things to say about it. I figure being taught the basics is better than making a lot of needless mistakes.

From one who has been there--- Stacy is right on the money! Take lots of notes if you can, it's hard to absorb all the info and remember it later. -Matt-

Oh, I forgot to mention that it's really darn fun too! :D

So jealous. Good on you!

Congratz. i wish i could afford something like that. take good notes and hopefuly i can copy them :D

i just got back from there,i had a great time! if money is an issue,or if you want full immersion, ask if you can stay in the bunkhouse,it's only 15 bucks a night!,good way to save for tools and things. But if you're going to do that book early! they have 6 bunks only so just cause you get the class doesn't mean you'll get the bunkhouse. It's kinda nice to just be able to walk over to the shop, and you'll likely meet some cool people. just my 2 cents

Thanks Guys,
Vinny, I will be glad to share my notes if I can read them:eek:
Kevin, your Idea on the bunk house sounds great:thumbup: . I will call tomorrow.
Mace, Thanks for your Demo Saturday at the Hammerin, and your input on the School.

Plus, the gas station right across the street from the bunkhouse has a sit-down breakfast!
Don't forget ear plugs! Some of those other students might snore!

you will love it, i did. i was lucky enough to win the class from the abs. i made some great friends and learned alot. the ear plug idea is worth more than you know and there is only one bathroom but i wouldnt of had it any other way. bobby

kbak,it's funny you mention snoring,we had a guy could peel paint from the walls!,(good guy though)
