Bladesmiths/Knifemakers in Western NC?

Brevard ain't far enough away from the greater Asheville area to be so particular IMHO. I'm in Candler, there are many spread around this area, including quite a few of us ABS guys. Shoot me a PM and you're welcome to come out to my shop, or just call me up to shoot the proverbial shit. I highly recommend the next ABS Hammer-in at Haywood Community College if you have any interest in Bladesmithing, it'll be in Oct, and should be very informative if you're just getting started.

Most of the info in this thread still applies. I'm over at Bill's most afternoons, in my shop making damascus or tinkering most days, and there's a maker's meeting the first Tuesday of every month (I think that's right?) at Haywood CC.
