I'm now seeing Bladetech tek-loks with made in China on them. I really like the design and have purchased several over the years and one of the reasons was this product was USA Made. I must say that's a disappointing change, anyone know why or what happened at Bladetech for this decision? I haven't found anyplace or anyone discussing this when I tried to do a search. Call me silly, outdated, out of touch in this Global economy, but this development has caused me to lose interest in this product. :(

They still say Made In The USA on their site, could you have a chinese knock off,or do they need to update their site I wonder.

I'd be disappointed to learn they have gone offshore with manufacturing, especially if fellow Washingtonians lost their jobs because of it.

I was under the impression they were designed in America and made in Tawain originally. Have also recently noticed they have been made in China despite same cost. The action also seem a bit more "stiff" on them these days compared to when the new design first came out. Just an observation. I still go through lots.

My small tek loks say made in USA.These others appear to be updated design but definitely off shore such a shame was going to pick up another couple.

They are made in China now and I didn't notice a decrease in price. The Boker Tek-Loks are cheaper and are good quality.

I heard the Boker and Tec-lock brand are made by the same factory. I liked the older USA made ones much better.

The biggest decrease in quality I have noticed on them is the hardware. The bolts should have a slot or some way to hold them to take them loose and come with a couple different lengths.

They have been made in China since the introduction of the new design. The new design is marked made in China. The original design were marked Made in USA.
