bladez.com have you ordered from them?

Well it looks like no one here has heard of them.

I emailed them twice and have heard nothing back.

They have a phone number on there website so I called them today.

The phone just rang and rang.

They got some really good prices on there DMT hones and shipping prices seem great, but I don't think I will order from them if they can not reply to my emails or pick up the phone.

I ordered a couple of Tramontina machetes and a Victorinox, they wrote to tell me that the machetes weren't in stock, asked if I wanted to cancel. I said I'd wait and to go ahead and ship when the machetes came in. The order came in a couple of weeks. Polite service, no problems, just this agreed-upon delay.

I'd order from them again.
 
I just got a reply to my second email to them:
I asked if they have a store front or sell on ebay.
There reply:

just on-line

Preaty short, but at lest there was a reply

The first time I emailed them I asked about the item I was looking to order:

I would like to know if this is the correct price and if its instock.

Well I sent them a third email asking again about the item again.

It is a great price and if they reply I will give them a try.

Anyone else place a order with these people?

They said the item I wanted was instock so I placed the order.
Now all I can do is sit and wait for it to show.

I once placed an order with them, but received an email a week later explaining that the item was not in stock so that there would be a delay. It took a while, but the item finally arrived about a month after I ordered it. You should have better luck since your item is in stock.
 
I just got a email from them today with the dilivery confirmation number and a note saying "Your package is scheduled for shipment on 04/20/2002".

Sounds like its on its way :)

I always wonder about website like this one. Is it just some kid selling out of his apartment?

Just a quick positive note about Bladez. Found they had the best price on an Ultimate Edge diamond steel I was looking for, emailed them when I could expect it if I placed an on-line order, received a fast email back saying 5-7 days, went ahead, got a USPS tracking number a day or two later and it came as promised. Couldn't ask more. Thanx Bladez.
 
Just searching through my old post to find the place I ordered my last DMT hone from. :)

BladeZ.com did come through with my order just fine last time.

I was searching for them tonight to place a order for a DMT file, but they do not list the one I was looking for.

I do see they have the Spyderco 204 sharpmaker for $40.75 and $4.95 for priority mail. Not to bad of a price :)

I see the have changed the look of there web site from the last time I looked at it.

I emailed them to see if they stock the sharpmaker before ordering one.

Will see if they are any faster sending a reply this time :)

Anyway I was very happy with BladeZ.com and thought I would post a update, even if it is a bit late.
