I have been to blade four times. The first time I bought everything that caught my eye..I spent way too much money and six months later most of those knives were sold again.
Second trip to blade I again purchased to much. This time more custom stuff and less production stuff. Again same story six months later I had sold all of the knives..
The last two trips have been different. I took cash. ( its harder to pay for a knife with good old greenbacks!!) I had pared down my list of makers that wanted to buy a knife from. I bought knives from only those makers. Last years haul and this years haul will probably be in my collection for a long time.
its easy to get caught up in the hype. For those of you who have never been to a blade show..its the most amazing knife show ever..hundreds of tables..hundreds of booths of production knives. Probably 50 or more dealers with everything under the sun..Drawings, seminars..you can spend a wad of cash quick!!
