Was perusing a cigar site came across these. Blatantly a ugly copy of the beloved ASH-1. Too bad as I previously liked Gurkha cigars, not anymore though! I've already emailed Busse about this, no word back yet though.

I'm having issues posting pics, here is the link (sorry if this isn't allowed) If somebody can post the pics only then please do!
No links to sales of counterfeits, nor direct sharing of photos of counterfeits in which one can follow the image link back to site...This is a BF.com sitewide rule...thx

But....but....it comes with limited edition double stitched tactical nylon wilderness sheath!

I've been seeing this more and more--just last week there was a custom maker who made a copy of an ASH-1; he wasn't too bothered about being called out either. I sent the shop an email with a link. Not cool.

Looks like a 3B2 clone. What a shame.
And an awful 3B2 clone at that!

It's such a shame that a (formerly) reputable American company would stoop to this level. It would be interesting to know how this came about about in the first place- did their distributor show them theknock off and talk it up? Did they intentionally contract someone to do the job? Hmmmmm...

Done. Hopefully he can get them to take it down
I imagine he will...

Just a couple months ago, a custom maker known for his folders announced he was going to do a run of fixed blades. Surprise surprise, there was what looked to be a talon hole in the same place you'd find it on a Busse. I sent Jerry a message with a link to the maker's page and maybe a screenshot of theknife as well, iirc. --> fast forward to now, and that maker's knife has a triangle instead of a hole...I can't know exactly what happened, but something appears to have happened.

Whether grinding, designing, or protecting his knives, Jerry is great at what he does 👍👍

Anyone want a hella sharp TGLB ripoff?

[LINK DELETED]

Can someone share this with Jerry? I don't know where to contact him

Correct, no active auction links permitted. Completed autions are cleared for discussion purposes.

Jerry can be reached at: jerry@bussecombat.com

Whenever I send him a Talon Hole Alert, he always responds with a thanks.

At least he's pretty clear that it's not a real Busse and that it's a replica for Walking Dead fans who can't buy the real thing from Busse because Busse isn't making them anymore. And it isn't a real Busse and it's not for Busse Collectors and people who want a real Busse should look elsewhere. And it's hella sharp and the sheath looks right, if you want to play Daryl Dixon.

One thing I've been a part of before is to go to the offending site and leave as many negative reviews as possible - it usually lets the owners know people are on to them. Most of the time, they stop, sometimes they don't.
