Right, they look nothing alike.:p This is such a blatant ripoff, it's not even funny.:thumbdn: I guess this knife maker has no imagination of his own.:thumbup:

At least change the handle. I get that there are only so many blade designs, but when you combine, blade, talon holes, ricaso, handle design and rear skull crusher shape all almost identical, there is only one answer.

At least it has a polished finish fit for a pimp. But as a show piece I can see the draw. To each his own. I am glad busse does not do high polish finished.
 
Anyone consider the possibility of one of Jerry's "Special Projects" not linked to military or law enforcement?

Perhaps in a moment of dire need for a cigar and realizing his humidor was empty....:eek:

I don't know what the description of an infringeing design is worth, but it says micarta.

At the end of the day, I don't think ripoffs will ever hurt Busse business. However, actual named fakes is a different story. When you see a knife with Busse on it and it is an obvious fake, that can hurt their business
 
wow.. straight up Ash1 rip off!! I wrote a review pointing out the rip off. they will likely screen the review but if that business realizes the knife is a rip off an customers are not happy about it. hopefully they will want to avoid tarnishing there business. then top that off with a strongly worded phone call from Jerry...:D
 
The one review of the knife in the link is sad. Customer is going to store the knife on his "Classic" sailboat, for emergencies (intruder or fouled line). Just sad. It's going to be asexual if he does have an emergency with a sheet or sail and goes to use that blade, trusting his life to it, and it fails epically...
 
I kinda like the mini SFNO...that is if Busse had done it.
