This is the test knife from the last batch. I usually use a reject for this, but all the knives from the last batch turned out good so I tested a sell-able blade. I have removed the damage and this is a good use-able knife, though the profile is a little different (the dropped edge is removed) and it's not as thin as usual because the edge was ground back.

This is sharpened 18 DPS, it is CPM 3V at HRC 62, the scales are black micarta, it comes with a good kydex sheath. It's still a hard working, nearly unbreakable knife that will cut well and hold an edge like magic, it's just not very pretty.

SOLD shipped. <--- this is an enormous amount of knife for the money.

Also, if you're interested, I just posted a few potato knives over in the kitchen knife subforum here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Three-6-quot-Kitchen-Utility-Vegetable-Knives

We're working on a chopper prototype beta build now that will yield a few extras in a couple weeks. These will be 3V with the newest heat treat optimized for a chopper that is going to blow your mind.

I'm not certain if this is the case for everyone, but I'm unable to see the images, they all appear corrupt. Though I am interested in the knife depending on how it looks. Any chance for a confirmation from someone else?

I'll take it. Please PM me your Paypal info.
Pete

I get a blank screen but I was sorry to miss his last offer two weeks ago and willing to wait for spring for another try. I'll take it sight unseen. P.S.

Yeah, sorry about the pictures, Photobucket just went down (for everybody). I'd load the pictures somewhere else but Photobucket has the only copies. It was working here on my computer, I guess they were locally cashed in temp or something, but they're gone for me too now. meh.

Gotta go off-line 'till tonight. Meeting parents for dinner. Will check back to see what's happened and go (or not) from there.

Haha well dang, looks like it's been spoken for already. Here I was all excited to be the first to pull it up :)! Still want to see what it looks like though for sure.

I can't see any of the pictures because Photobucket's down at the moment, but I'm eager to see what has everyone standing in line sight-unseen to purchase. :D

Wow! You already have them standing in line for this one!

PM ed Nathan and have sent him his asking price thru Paypal. Not sure why he's not posting as he shows as on-line here at BF. I'll state it -

The original idea was to post the weeks work on Friday afternoon, it sells over the weekend and we ship the next week. It's a great business model, and we've made it work for a lot of sale threads. However the reality seems to be that sometimes things move at a brisker pace. That's great, I'm really glad folks are responding to our work.

I am on line, I sort of keep an eye on the threads on my phone, but I usually don't come back to the computer because it's Friday night and I'm eating dinner, watching a movie and enjoying the fire with Jo and the kids.

Jo normally handles the business end of things, I'm just a grinder monkey, and I'm pushing my luck asking her to bill on Saturday. We're just a three man shop here and sometimes there's nobody to tend the internet. So, generally speaking, there isn't a lot of communication on Friday nights, but we always get everybody taken care of and their stuff the next week.

Nathan,
Thanks for the info on your SOP and for getting back to me. First time customer so was not sure what to expect. Came across your field knives 2 weeks ago just a bit too late to jump on one, wanted to see what you came up with this time and lucked into what I wanted. Hope you didn't take too much time away from family but I was/am willing to wait. Thanks again.
Pete
