Here's the chance to get yourself a top notch 1095 EDC at a low price if you don't mind a little cosmetic boo boo.
I'm not sure how or when it happened, but apparently when I was flattening the tang of this knife, I ground off the top and caused there to be a tiny gap between the scales and tang
I had checked it before glue up and never noticed anything out of the ordinary. I've filled the gap and sanded it smooth so other than cosmetic, there's no problem with it. My loss is your gain!
The Leopard wood is fantastic on this knife. I finished to a high degree and it really pops. The natural micarta pins I used are virtually invisible! (gotta look hard). The 1095 blade is Super Sharp!
Anyway, this knife is finished out, polished and ready to go. Just like with any of my knives. The only thing is at this price, there will be no sheath or makers mark. If you want a sheath, I can make one for $20. Either way, someone is going to get a great deal!
Here's the specs:
Steel: 5/32" Aldo's 1095 High Carbon Steel (about .140)
Handles: Stabilized Leopard wood with White G10 Liner
Hardware: six natural 1/8" Micarta Pins
Blade Height (top of spine to bottom of ricasso): 1 1/4"
Blade Length: 3" from tip to front of handles and approximately a 2 3/4" cutting edge
OAL: 6 7/8"
Includes my Common Sense Lifetime Warranty (other than the gap on this one) and Lifetime Free Sharpening. You only pay for shipping to me and back to yourself.
Special Price = $SOLD This includes all PayPal fees (if paying by PayPal) and FREE USPS Priority Shipping to the U.S.! Payment via PayPal at donaldlawson@gmail.com or USPS Money Order.
