Blems and good one for 7/8 -- Pix and Awesome buys

Got the Chainpuri. I shall cherish it briefly before giving it to my little brother, who's place was just ransacked and his possessions stolen. Fun thing is, his number one complaint is that they took his favorite knife.

Bless these kami, they do beautiful work.

Anyone know if cutting for sugar cane which choice of Khurkuri suitable for in terms of length and weight. As we know sugar cane is also a high content of fiber inside like bamboo.

hmm I would go for something like the bone cutter or even a foxy or ycs , something with lots of forward cut but light weight enough not to burn you out

PK, for sugar cane I would go with something that has a relatively thin edge. The bamboo cutter I bought recently is 19" and heavy, but has a very thin edge compared to my others of the same weight class. When using it recently I chopped through 3 small palm trees in one light swing. I wouldn't use it on hard woods, though.

Just an FYI - I was unable to cancel an earlier order and swap out for this Kumar CAK, so it's still available. Best of luck sharks ;)

Looks like we have another silent shark around. I read your post yesterday evening and sent en request for it to Auntie. Today I got the long gone response.
Which is a good thing as it gave me room to EMS on today's awesome Bowie.

philllll , do you mean thin and longer blade sirupati or Kobra in longer length.

I'm not talking about the width of the blade, but rather the thickness behind the edge and the angle of the edge. A siru might be a good choice but the kobra would probably be too light. It is more of a martial arts / fighting blade.

A bashpati may be the ticket.
