Don't know what's wrong with pix. Taking pix and processing same as always but pix quality has gone to hell. Don't have energy to investigate right now but will if I ever get any strength back.

21" 41oz. Ganga Ram by Bura. Hairline crack in handle that won't develop.
$95

16.5 WWII 22oz. by Kumar. Same story. Hairline crack. $75

14" 17 oz. Seax by Sher. Same story. $65

12" 11oz. Pen knife horn handle by Bura. Ten minutes rust. $65

Email to get any or all of these bargains.

I have what was Sarge's Pen knife from the first batch. The cho on it is just under a 1/4 inch from the bolster. This one looks like a full inch or more!

Seems odd.

Now you mention it, that cho is moving. Because the blade is small, it looks even farther out there.

Oh Man, not again!!!
This is the third Ganga Ram I missed this past month.
Definitely out of luck on Uncle’s deals these days.

I need a seax! Unfortunately, the only way I could buy one now would be on an installment plan of $.65~ over the next 100 months. :(

I will use my "sour grapes" coping mechanism to mask my disappointment and frustration by saying, "I really want wood." :p

i was holding my 12" ang khola by amtrak up to the screen to see how it compared to the pic of the pen for cho creep,

and they seem about similar. with the picture, it makes it seem over done, but when holding mine up the screen, it looks about the same, 1/2 after bolster. wich is acceptable...

Maybe we'll get some more of those villagers. There seems to be interest in them.

Actually, there's interest in the large Ganga Ram.
And the AK Bowie.

I thought about you, Hollow. It was heavy enough to be useful but made with a Bura edge. A 3.5 pound GR with a Bura edge may dig in too deep. But this was under 3

I'd try the larger model. But the 17" is the perfect khuk IMO. Light enough for machete stuff but heavy enough to be a chopper. I can chop twice as long with my BGRS as with my 18" AK due to the weight and also the handle diameter being so big on the AK. I'd be hesitant to take a big GRS packing due to the weight. Be cool to have though.

The more weight the more convex you can go.

I have a 17.5" 30 oz Baby Ganga Ram, by Sher, I think, that has a nice convex edge and is a great hiker.

I think the best hikers are between 24 oz and 29oz, though. Going over that, even a little, seems to tell on me more after a few miles. Don't know about other folks.
