1 -- 18 inch 28 ounce Ganga Ram Special by the old master, Bura. Beautiful saatisal handle. Perfect rig and it's yours today for only $75.00. UBBB

2 -- 16.5 inch 1.5 pound Chiruwa Ang Khola. Yangdu didn't mention the kami but she said it was perfect and when she says it is perfect it is. Take it home today for 1/2 price and we'll pay shipping = $72.50

3 -- 18 inch 22 ounce Malla by the best kami in Nepal, Bura. Yangdu didn't specify handle material but says there is a hairline crack in handle so it's a good bet that it is horn. But for $70 delivered to your door handle material doesn't matter much.

4 -- 18 inch 20 ounce Gelu Special by Kumar. The only thing that keeps this rig from the 10/10 category is a hairline crack in horn handle. Last day of 2003 price is $70.00

5 -- 12 inch 10 ounce village style Sirupati by Bura. Five mintes worth of rust on the blade. Great deal for this little winner at $35.00

Email to get any or all of these last of the year deals.

And Happy New Year all!

3 and 4 gone.

Yangdu not at screen yet (7AM her time) so marked sold by Uncle Bill in SEKS.

Many thanks.

5 gone for sure and I'll mark 2 gone for you Pan and see what Yangdu can work out for you. Still too early for her to get to the screen (7:30 her time).

So, only #1 left.

Uncle Bill from SEKS.

heeheehee...this is fun!!! :D

Glad you went for it as I was tempted, but resisted. Now the temptation is gone.:D

I chose the Gelbu Special #4, and I'm very pleased that I picked it. I will still go for a special on Monday, but I need a practice khukuri, and this will fit the bill nicely. All of em' are special; I
look foward to receiving it, doing some light cutting, learning to sharpen it, and get to know a little about how Kumar designs his blades, etc.

I've having a bit of a problem with sending the money through PayPal though. The blade is $70.00 + $20.00 shipping is $90.00 and converts to 6,570.00 Rs. It won't send. I'd appreciate any help in this, my latest glitch.

Thanks! Dan

:)

fine. I asked Yangdu to add a Pen Knife if there are any in stock - I gave the last one I got away as a present - it is now the favourite cutting tool of a collegue of mine, she is a wizard in the kitchen (she learned to cook at a *** hotel before she went to unyversity to become a teacher (English and French)) - and she likes the Pen knife very much...
looking forward to No.2

Thank you Uncle

Andreas

Drdan,
I usually pay by VISA and "shop" on the Himalayan-Imports-shopping site until I match the amount of money.

I'm just joking about the Nepalese Rupees; I'm not that dense!:D

I don't understand the concept... Do you mean that I can deposit, say $175.00 on the site, and then chose items until... What would the advantages be over PayPal? On the other hand Andreas, please understand that after I order my special order GS next week, there will be no need for either, since I will only be placing one more order... ;)

P.S. Do many of the maintenance products like truoil, ScotchBrite, Cold Blueing, super fine sandpaper grits, non-corrosive rust removers, diamond sharpening rods, etc., etc. have their german equivalents? You've probably been to Italy if you've Bavarian, so you know that Italy lacls in a lot of products for hobbyists.

I rushed so fast to purchase #4, I didn't read it had a cracked handle! Oh well, I can use it for a few days, and then sell it to Andreas for a hefty profit!
