Blenders: which one to choose?

I've owned a Blendtec for a few years and I love it. I don't think you can go wrong with either the blendtec or the vitamix. Sure they are expensive, but I got tired of burning motors up on inexpensive blenders and as a bonus you can make soup....HOT soup in the blender.
