Blind Horse Handles

I recently picked up a Bushcrafter and Bushbaby. Love them both and the finish is fantastic. Now I'm thinking slightly thinner handles on the Bushbaby might be a little nicer and work better as a neck knife.

Has anyone sanded their own handles down? My concern is sanding down the handle pins. I'm wondering if they use the same size on their "slim" vs "standard" models.
