Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter ?

i got to handle one at a gunshow, but if you really wanna know how they function go over to the other knife site, they got a forum there

it was extremely comfortable and looked great

That's a great looking knife. For that price I'd buy one straight away....well I wouldn't because I have too many knives already!!

Yeah I have to agree it looks great ! The only thing which concerns me slightly is that I read somewhere that the RC is in the low to mid 50's which seems a little low to me, I just wonder how this affects the edge holding ? At least they should be easy to re-sharpen though !!!!

With all the bushcraft knife talk going on just lately I wondered if anyone had tried one of these yet.....they look pretty sweet !!!!

STOP IT!!!
I am up to my ears in Bushies and swore I wouldn't buy another this year!

That is SO sweet! I saw it before but forgot about it. I love the "no guard" feature and the little bit of a finger notch. If the plunge line were right at the handle, I would order it immediately.

Man, I am NOT going to make it to '09!!

I saw the prototype being tested. An unbelievable knife for the price. I loved it. I'm surprised I haven't bought one yet.

these things look great... i have wanted one, since the first time i checked one out, over at KF...:D

I am not a fan of this design. Stomper makes them like this - and I am not a fan of the look (no offense at all please).

With that said - I have not handled one - I may care a lot less about the design LOOK if the design PERFORMS.

However, looks like a great knife and certainly for the price.

Yeah, I've been looking into those for quite a while now, they look great. The wood is quite handsome, and the handle is well rounded. I'm always surprised no one around here has snagged one yet! Might just have to be the guinea pig!

I love mine and have not had any issues with edge retention. I've carried it quite often this late summer and fall on hikes and usually whittle something if only just fuzzsticks or stakes or carve notches and what-not. I've batoned with it too. Aside from the blueing showing some wear, the edge still shaves. I usually give it a minute's worth of relaxed stroppingwhen I get home. It is flat ground but the edge is convex.
Here's some shots

Wow, that handle is incredible! I wish I could make my curly maple handles come out with that depth!

I have always liked the BH knives, but I've really fallen for the Patch knife and the Bird & Trout. Now, along comes this Bushcrafter!!! I think last year at this time they only had the Work Horse knives and maybe one or two others. I think anyway - can't be sure now.

I really like the idea of the softer 4140 steel - very tough but easy to sharpen. Isn;t that a spring steel? No...saw steel they say. Very nice blue blades, and the hammered looking blades are nice too.

These guys are making some very reasonably priced, well-designed blades. Maybe they're the next "Bark River" type makers?
