Blind Horse Knives - Closing Down

Yup. Third thread on the subject on the General Knife Discussion Forum first page, so I guess it's confirmed. :)

I have one bushcrafter and it's worked so well, thanks to this thread I have a large Workhorse on the way.

Eeeek! That stinks...I was getting ready to order a custom...such a shame, they make nice blades.

I know both of them and they are both great people. It's a shame things didn't work out.

too bad, i have a bushcrafter from them with custom red spacers, i wonder if the price of it will go up?

ill tell you the contact i did have will LT was nothing but pleasant and delightful

I know both men personally. LT helped me get started in the business in many ways, not the least of which was allowing me to sell his knives. I wish both men all the best in their future endeavors and I'm sure both men will continue to make outstanding knives.

I'm not terribly familiar with BHK and I have no inside info. This popped up on my FB feed this morning:

Seems like a classy guy

Guess I'll be shopping around for at some other knife makers. Any suggestions besides Bark River, not that there's anything wrong with them, just that I like to comparison shop. :p

Andy Roy, over at Fiddleback Forge, does some wonderful knives. Many of his knives are also in the bushcraft/camp category. His work is gorgeous, and he uses O1, like the BHK folks do.
