Blind Horse Knives

The RAT team would make Mike Mentzer proud lol. If you don't know who Mike is you won't get this.

Wow...Guys let me start off first by thanking Jeff Randall for all his help. Erik thank you for making initial contact for us. I can't explain to you what it means to have him endorse our knives. We too feel that American made is the only way to build knives. It is not easy to do, but it is worth it. Thank you all for the kind words. Guys, support RAT Cutlery heavily! They are great folks.
God Bless

Yup, I'm thankful for TTD for pointing me in this direction. Ya'll is good folks :D

The general spirit and attitude of RAT is more than enough to turn me into a customer.

Oh, are the all knives from Blind Horse hollow ground?

I got to say the RAT Forum is really jumping these days. I usually tune in here first before the others.

Yep, I'm pretty quiet overall so you do not see me posting all that much, but I am here daily. I hit up the RAT forum and Kershaw every day and then maybe hit some others, but those two get me every day. Like the group here, and the company behind it.

I'm quiet here, but if you knew me in person you'd never believe it was possible for me to talk so little! :D

well i cant tell you how excited i am!!!

Blind horse knives and RAT....

i wholeheartedly admire the fellows involved with these companies. the fact that the USER is key to the MAKERS decision process...

I have knives from both companies....and one in the initial design phase with one of them...I will never look at American knife companies with the same eyes as i do these two...

Great Gentelman and true humble souls.
How is the clysdale coming Langston?

oh, should be here real soon....i am gonna have some pants made for it before i get it....its done heat treat and everything...just going to another friend before me and then to me. after that the woods....trees beware:cool:

Oh, are the all knives from Blind Horse hollow ground?

not if you dont want them to be...all you gotta do is ask and ye shall recieve what ye wanteth. seriously just ask the BH guys and see what you can do they are super open minded fellas

think about this...

1095 line of knives. hollow, flat and convex
d2 line of knives. hollow, flat and convex
s30v line of knives. hollow, flat and convex

oh the possibilties....thats nine knives of the same model with all those options...you will run out of money before you run out of options...

Hey Jeff,

Great endorsement. LT is the guy who put me over the edge and help fuel my passion for knife making. I met him at a gun show in Jan. of 2007. After a two hour long conversation I went home and ordered some 440C blanks (something I had wanted to do for years) and I put handles on them. It was awesome!

By June I had a Coote in my garage. I have made around 20 knives in the past 9 months and have sold 14. I email and talk with LT... and like most full time makers he will help as much as he can, advice, instruction, whatever it takes.

Again, great endorsement, he is one of the good guys! And makes great knives as well!

Regards,
John Landi

We need more folks like LT and more companies like his in this industry. It seems like a lot of companies in this industry feel like they should have the whole market share, and I'm not just talking about the company we're in conflict with right now. I'm talking about some major, well known companies who feel like there is no room in the market for anyone but them. Hell, I want to see a hundred American made RAT Cutlerys and a hundred American made Blind Horse knives in this industry. Competition is good for business and anyone who doesn't believe that has never understood the premise of Free Market Capitalism. This industry needs a good "revolution." ;)

Cant wait to see it. ;)

Langston302 introduced me to BHK, and while I dont have one yet (and I want a bunch) Everything I have read, including Magazine articles, Websites, and other forums say that this is the Knife company to watch. I have My eye on a Large work horse, and a Batwing!!!
